Ovidios Italian Restaurant

Pretty much exactly what you would expect from an Italian restaurant in the middle of California.The Calamari steak had bit of a strange texture. It's not like the calamari you normally get as an appetizer. It does come with pasta and veggies though, which was a pleasant surprise!The linguini con vongole were good, if a bit too heavy on the garlic.The espresso was good! Service was not amazing, even though we were the only people there. Granted, it was 2PM on a Sunday, but it was still a bit surprising.

First time here for family get together. Great prefix menu deal for restaurant’s 40th anniversary. Lasagna was delicious and just right proportions. Staff was amazing and attentive and service was prompt which we appreciated because we had a show to get to. Seemed like lots of regulars at the bar. Would be a good place for after work drinks.
